Jamie's Baptism
Our sweet little Jamie had turned 8 and couldn't wait to be baptized. On July 6th, surrounded by her family, she made the important step to return to her Heavenly Father and was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Here she is with a big smile on her face! She was baptized by her Dad.
After the baptism, everyone gathered at Jamie's house for lunch and a family celebration.

Grandpa Harold's Birthday Party
This is how we always found Grandpa Harold.....in the family room in his brown chair. Some days were better than others but today he was happy to have the family gathered to celebrate his birthday. In only a few short weeks from this day, he would leave this life. We rejoice that he is happy in paradise and able to walk and run again with his mother, father, brother and sisters who all proceeded him in death. For the past few years, because of complications from his fall, he has suffered much pain. During his life, he taught us how to endure. His life was filled with suffering but he turned that suffering into rejoicing because he was able to draw closer to the Savior. Thanks for your example.

Crafting with Grandma
Once a week, usually on Wednesday, I travel to Syracuse to spend the day with Logan, Brighton, and Eden. I love planning projects for them to do and was delighted to find that they like doing crafts as much as I do. Today we went to Hobby Lobby and picked out some items to paint. I love their creativity and their happy faces when they can proudly show off their masterpieces.
Brighton turns 5
Brighton's cake...a cat. Did we expect anything else? Brighton is nuts about cats. She wants a cat so bad but her dad is allergic to them. She said to her dad that when he died she was going to get a cat.
