Logan turns 7

Logan's birthday cake....legos!
We gave him a pitch-back and we couldn't believe how quickly he mastered it.  A Natural!

Crafting with Grandma

Once a week, usually on Wednesday, I travel to Syracuse to spend the day with Logan, Brighton, and Eden.  I love planning projects for them to do and was delighted to find that they like doing crafts as much as I do.  Today we went to Hobby Lobby and picked out some items to paint.  I love their creativity and their happy faces when they can proudly show off their masterpieces.

Brighton turns 5

Brighton's cake...a cat.  Did we expect anything else?  Brighton is nuts about cats.  She wants a cat so bad but her dad is allergic to them.  She said to her dad that when he died she was going to get a cat.

Lost A Tooth

Logan is all smiles when he lost his first tooth.  He has been waiting a long time for this day.  And guess who pulled it out for him?  His school teacher.

Brendon comes to Utah for a visit

We love having Brendon come visit from Indianapolis.  He is such a cutie!

It is great seeing him interacting with his cousins.  Even though they don't see each other often they are instantly friends.

Motherhood to Grandmahood

Three mothers get a special treat....breakfast in bed.  Kristi was here from Indianapolis and Monique and family were spending the weekend.  What a joy it is to watch my daughters and daughters-in-law become the dedicated and loving mothers that they are.  I know my grandchildren are in righteous, loving hands.  But, that doesn't mean all will be smooth sailing.....as you can see from our attempts to get one good picture.  Never happened.  You can see the downhill spiral especially for Brendon who didn't want anything to do with holding still for a picture.  Happy Mother's Day 2013!

The arrival of our 8th grandchild....little Stockton

We finally received the great news that Rachelle was in labor.  We were so excited that we headed almost immediately to the hospital even though we knew it could be hours of waiting, especially since this was Rachelle and Richard's first child.  We found them both smiling and happily awaiting the arrival of Stockton.

Can't tell you how happy we were to meet this new member of the family.  We were so grateful he arrived without complications and he is perfect and beautiful from head to toe.  A blessing from heaven!

Proud Daddy, Richard!
