On day four we went to Aloha Stadium for the swap meet after that we were going to go to Pearl Harbor, but it was closed because of the government shut-down. So, we went through the center of the island to the Dole Plantation and had a pineapple sundae....Their ice cream is the taste I crave when I go home. You can't get pineapple ice cream as good as theirs anywhere in the world. Then we went to Shark's Cove and snorkeled. I didn't get any pictures of these places. Day 5 we went to Waikiki Beach and then hiked Diamond head. You start the hike in the crater and follow a desert type trail. Then you go up 99 stairs and emerge from a WWII gunnery enclosure. From the top you have a wonderful view. The hike took about three hours.
